What We Do

Tiny Hookups can manage all the work related to adding legal and permitted infrastructure so you can live in your tiny house on wheels or RV on residential property.

Initial consultation - $100

We will meet with you and discuss the the zoning regulations and building code standards that allow for tiny houses on wheels and RVs to be connected to water, sewer and electrical services on residential property. The consult will also cover best practice for site design and mobile dwelling placement.
To start the process simply email us at info@tinyhookups.com

Kol, one of the company founders, can also provide more involved ADU site consultations for $250. Learn more here.

In the consultation, we’ll tell you the steps required to do the work yourself. But, if you want us to handle the work with licensed and bonded professionals, we’re ready to go.
This is what we do.

The Process

  • If you decide to work with us, we’ll compile a complete bid so you know how much the work will cost before we begin. Creating our bid means coordinating with several subcontractors, so we’ll need site access to inspect the existing services and provide a full scope of work. Note this may mean more than one visit depending on availability and what we find on the initial site visit.

  • Our bid will include all project management, labor, materials, and relevant work by licensed subcontractors to get your property ready to service your new tiny house or RV.

  • Beyond adding new connections for your tiny house, it is sometimes necessary to upgrade the water or electrical service to the property to allow enough capacity for an additional dwelling. This varies greatly from one property to the next and these costs can be significant.

  • If your primary house needs a water, sewer, or electrical upgrade, we’ll provide a separate bid for these items so that the costs are clear from the start.

  • We can also arrange additional site work such as deconstruction of an old shed or garage to make space for your tiny house or RV.
